Amir Bouhamdi decides on international future and chooses to represent Morocco
Amir Bouhamdi, an 18-year-old player from PSV Eindhoven, has officially settled his international future by choosing to defend the colors of the Moroccan national team in the upcoming period.
The rising talent has informed the Royal Moroccan Football Federation of his decision to represent the 'Atlas Lions', closing the door on attempts by the Dutch Football Association to persuade him to choose the Netherlands.
Amir Bouhamdi has been selected for Morocco despite holding both Moroccan and Netherlands nationalities, putting an end to Dutch efforts to recruit him and benefit from his rising talent.
Amir Bouhamdi is considered one of the most promising young talents at PSV Eindhoven, having started to attract attention with the first team, while he is tied to a contract with the Dutch club that runs until the summer of 2031.
