Al Ahly FC sign Saïd Baâthia from Al Fateh

Al Ahly FC have officially secured the signing of right-back Saïd Baatiya from Al Fateh, bringing the player back to his former club on a new contract that extends for four seasons.

Al Ahly FC have completed the signing after Ba'atiya successfully passed his medical tests in Jeddah, before reaching a final agreement with Al Fateh's management to purchase the remaining duration of his contract.

The 25-year-old has returned to Al Ahly FC after previously representing the club at youth levels, before experiencing stints with Ansar and Al-Fateh in recent years.

Ba'athiya plays as a right-back, and his signing is part of Al Ahly FC's efforts to bolster their ranks and provide additional options for the coaching staff during the current season's competitions.

Al Ahly FC's coaching staff has started preparing a special fitness program for the player, aiming to quickly enhance his readiness and prepare him to be included in the squad for the upcoming match against Al Qadisiyah.

Al Ahly FC are looking to benefit from the experience of Ba'atiya, especially as he knows the club's environment well, having progressed through the youth and junior sectors before leaving to pursue other experiences.

Baatiah's move to Al Ahly FC marks a return to his old home, having worn the club's shirt at an early age before opening a new chapter with the first team.
