The Italian Football Federation has begun steps to attract a number of young dual-nationality talents as part of its efforts to strengthen youth national teams and benefit from players who have the right to represent more than one national team.

Among the targeted names are Romano, a player from Switzerland's U20 team, and Tresoldi, the German international from the U21 team, alongside Palma, a defender from Udinese born in 2008, who represents Germany's U18 team.

According to the data, the three players have given their consent to represent Italy, but their official participation with the Azzurri is still linked to obtaining approval from the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) to change their sporting nationality.

The deadlines for completing the procedures are still not defined as the Italian Football Federation continues to work on finalizing the players' files in preparation for the possibility of officially calling them up in the near future.
