Al-Rayyan SC officially signs Otávio

Al-Rayyan SC have officially signed Portuguese international Otávio Monteiro from Al-Qadsiah to strengthen their squad for the current season.

Otávio, aged 31, is an important attacking addition for Al-Rayyan SC, given his vast experience gained during his career with prominent clubs, notably FC Porto, Al-Nassr, and Al-Qadsiah.

Otávio primarily plays in the playmaker and attacking midfield positions, but he can also occupy the winger role, which gives him significant tactical flexibility.

The player began his career with Sport Club Internacional, before moving to FC Porto, where he spent many years and won several domestic titles. He also had a loan spell with Vitória Guimarães SC.

In Saudi Arabia, Otávio played with Al-Nassr since the summer of 2023 before moving to Al-Qadsiah, and he is now embarking on a new experience with Al-Rayyan SC.
