Walid Salah Eddine criticises Al-Hussein Amouta
Walid Salah El Din, former star of Al Ahly FC, criticized Al-Hussein Ammouta, the head coach of the red club, for some of his decisions during the match against Smouha in the Egyptian League.
Al Ahly FC secured a hard-fought victory over Smouha with a single goal from Yasser Ibrahim in the 87th minute of the match, which took place in the 3rd round of the Egyptian League.
Walid Salah El Din stated on the "Mal'ab On" program with presenter Saif Zahir, after the match, that he has reservations about Hussein El Shahat not participating, pointing out that the player possesses technical and skillful abilities that could have helped the team during the match.
Former Al Ahly FC star stated: "I have reservations about the absence of Hussein El Shahat, because he is a skillful player who knows how to get past defenders, and this could have helped Al Ahly FC create space and pose a threat against Smouha."
He added: "Even when the first substitution was made, Tahr was substituted, and Mounsef Bakrar came on from the coaching staff, Hussein El Shahat needed to come on because the team needed a player with the ability to dribble and play one-on-one."
Walid Salah El Din pointed out that the coaching staff's choices during the match were not optimal in his view, despite Al Ahly FC ultimately achieving victory and securing the three points.
