The Egyptian Football Association's referees committee has confirmed the officiating team for the highly anticipated clash between Al Ahly FC and Zamalek SC, scheduled to take place in the Egyptian League for the 2026-2027 season.


Cairo International Stadium will host the match on Sunday, October 11, as part of the sixth round of the competition, in one of the season's standout fixtures.


The referees' committee has chosen Slovenian international referee Rade Obrenovic to officiate the match, with his compatriots Yuri Brabrotnik and Griga Kordez assisting him, while the fourth official role has been assigned to David Shmaits.


Opriyunovich has significant international experience, as he is classified among the elite referees of the European Football Association (UEFA). He has held the international badge since 2017 and has previously officiated many matches at the level of European club competitions and national teams.


The last international match officiated by the Slovenian referee was the clash between Belgium and France in the UEFA Nations League, which took place on September 28.


The officiating crew for the Al Ahly FC vs Zamalek SC clash has been announced as follows:
