Al-Qadsiah agree to loan Octávio to Al-Rayyan

Al-Qadsiah have agreed to loan Portuguese player Octávio Monteiro, a member of their first team, to Al-Rayyan SC for one season, according to reports from the newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah".

The loan decision comes as Otávio has fallen out of favour with the Al-Qadsiah coaching staff led by Brendan Rodgers, prompting the player to embark on a new experience in the Qatar Stars League during the upcoming season.

Otávio has joined Al-Qadsiah in the summer of 2025 from Al-Nassr, after spending two seasons with the capital team, during which he participated in 84 matches, scoring 12 goals and providing 16 assists.

The 31-year-old Portuguese player will begin a new chapter in his career with Al-Rayyan SC, having fallen out of favor at Al-Qadsiah for the current season.
