Bayern Munich thrash Osnabrück in DFB-Pokal

Bayern Munich secured a hard-fought victory against Osnabrück, winning 4-1 in the first round of the DFB-Pokal, thus booking their place in the second round of the competition, while Osnabrück exited the tournament.

Osnabrück started the match strongly and managed to catch Bayern Munich off guard with an early goal from Robin Meißner, who put the hosts ahead in the 4th minute.

Bayern Munich responded quickly, with English star Harry Kane equalising in the 18th minute, before Tom Bischof added a second goal in the 24th minute, turning Bayern Munich's deficit into a lead in just 20 minutes.

Bayern Munich were not satisfied with this result, as they managed to score a third goal in the 73rd minute through Michael Olise, while the fourth goal came from Harry Kane in the 86th minute from a penalty.

With this victory, Bayern Munich guarantee their qualification to the second round of the DFB-Pokal, while Osnabrück's journey in the tournament comes to an end.
