Official: Real Betis signs Dani Ceballos

Real Betis have officially signed Dani Ceballos, bringing the Spanish midfielder back to the club on a three-season deal until 2029.

The club explained on its official website that Ceballos has returned to Real Betis after starting his career in the club's academy, before making his first appearance with the first team in LaLiga in 2014.

After three impressive seasons with Real Betis, Ceballos moved to Real Madrid in the summer of 2017, and remained with the team until this summer, achieving numerous titles, most notably two in LaLiga, three in the UEFA Champions League, and two in the UEFA Super Cup.

Ceballos has also won the FIFA Club World Cup three times, the Copa del Rey once, and the Supercopa de España three times with Real Madrid.

During his loan spell at Arsenal from 2019 to 2021, the midfielder won the FA Cup and the FA Community Shield.

On the international stage, Ceballos won the UEFA European Under-19 Championship with the Spain national team in 2015, followed by the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in 2019, before making his first appearance for the senior team in 2018. He has made 14 international appearances so far.
