Mohamed Shaaban, the goalkeeper of Qanah FC, led his team to snatch a valuable point against Wadi Degla in their league campaign, after he bravely saved a penalty, demonstrating his exceptional skill and strong presence in guarding the team's goal.

Mohamed Shaaban has received the Man of the Match award, marking his second in the Egyptian League so far, after he was crowned with it in the match of the first round against Cleopatra FC.

Wadi Degla's penalty was just a continuation of Mohamed Shaaban's brilliance since Qanah FC's return to the spotlight; the goalkeeper, who secured opening points by saving two penalties against Cleopatra FC, has once again proven to be the leading specialist in thwarting penalties in the Egyptian League.

The 31-year-old goalkeeper said: "My saves from penalties are thanks to God first, and then to the preparation we do where we study the players who might take penalties against me before each match, along with some luck."

In statements made to ON Sport, a representative said: "The players of Qanah were up to the task and executed the coaching staff's instructions perfectly, and the draw with Degla gives us a valuable point in our journey in the league this season."

The match between Qanah FC and Wadi Degla, which took place this evening on Tuesday as part of the third round of the Egyptian League, ended in a goalless draw 0-0.
