Adil Aouchiche Set to Extend Contract with Schalke Until 2030
Things are moving towards Algerian international Adil Ouhich staying with German club Schalke for a long time, as both parties have reached an agreement to extend the midfielder's contract until June 2030.
Aouchiche joined Schalke in February 2026 from Sunderland, with a contract originally set to run until June 2027.
According to Sky Sports, the player and the German club have agreed on a new contract that will run until 2030, with only a few formalities remaining before the signing and official announcement of the deal.
This agreement comes after the levels shown by Aouchiche with Schalke, which prompted the club's management to act in order to secure his future, amid interest from several clubs in acquiring his services.
Schalke has shown its commitment to the player during the summer transfer window by rejecting a €5 million offer from Swansea City. This move underscores the club's desire to retain the Algerian player and build its future project around him.
Aouchiche is expected to become one of the highest earners at Schalke under his new contract, indicating the prominent role he has now secured within the team.
Aadel Aouchiche is preparing to embark on a new chapter with Schalke, as his future is close to being settled until 2030, with high hopes of continuing his development and solidifying his position with the club and the Algerian national team.
