Al Nassr Comes Back to Beat Al Taawoun in Thrilling Roshn League Clash

Al Nassr turned around a deficit against Al Taawoun to secure a thrilling 2-1 victory during the match held on Friday evening, as part of the fourth round of the Roshn Saudi League.

Al-Nassr has maintained its lead in the competition, raising its tally to 12 points, achieving a perfect record after four rounds. Meanwhile, Al-Taawoun remains at two points, sitting in fifteenth place.

Al Taawoun surprised their rivals with an early goal in the 11th minute, as Bassam Al Hariji unleashed a left-footed shot from inside the penalty area that found the back of the net.

Al Nassr pressed for an equalizer, with Sadio Mané shooting in the 27th minute, but Al Taawoun's defense intervened just in time to clear the attempt. The goalkeeper then saved another shot from the player in the 40th minute.

Al Nassr continued to threaten Al Taawoun's goal, as Angelo Gabriel attempted to score in the 43rd minute, but the home defense successfully stopped the shot once again.

Al Nassr equalized in stoppage time of the first half, as Samo Costa unleashed a powerful left-footed shot from outside the box in the 45+5 minute.

The teams went into the break with the score tied at 1-1, after Al Nassr managed to equalize in the final moments, as they began the second half in search of a goal to take the lead.

Cristiano Ronaldo succeeded in turning the score in favor of Al Nassr in the 50th minute, following a shot from Mohamed Simakan, and redirected the ball into the net of Al Taawoun.

Al Nassr continued to search for a third goal to secure the victory, while Al Taawoun attempted to exploit spaces and get back into the match. However, the 'Global' defense maintained their lead until the end.

Samu Costa squandered a chance to extend the lead in the 75th minute, rising to meet a cross from João Félix, but his header went wide of the post, allowing Al Nassr to maintain their precious victory.
