Mbappé Leads Real Madrid to Thrashing of Sociedad in La Liga

Real Madrid achieved a deserved victory against Real Sociedad, winning 4-1 in the postponed match from the first round of La Liga, held at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

Real Madrid has increased its tally to 6 points at the top of the overall standings, while Real Sociedad remains without any points in the twentieth and last position.

Real Madrid began the match with attacking attempts, the most notable chance coming from Kylian Mbappé, who fired a shot from inside the penalty area, but Real Sociedad's goalkeeper successfully saved it. Real Sociedad responded with a dangerous attempt from Oyarzabal, but Thibaut Courtois was on hand to deny the effort.

Vinicius missed a clear goal-scoring opportunity with a shot from inside the penalty area, but the goalkeeper made a save in the 20th minute. Real Sociedad then wasted another chance in the 34th minute after a shot from Gomez went wide of the post.

In the 40th minute, Kylian Mbappé scored to give his team the lead after a brilliant assist from Mbappé. However, Real Sociedad managed to equalize in the 44th minute through Luka Sucic, ending the first half between the two teams with a score of 1-1.

With the start of the second half, Real Madrid returned with strength, and Kylian Mbappé managed to score the second goal in the 60th minute, after the ball reached him to pass it to Jude Bellingham, who returned it to the French striker, allowing Mbappé to unleash a powerful shot that found the back of the net.
