PSG's Stance on Dembélé Contract Renewal

A French media report has revealed that Paris Saint-Germain is keen to continue its relationship with star player Ousmane Dembélé, as the club's management aims to extend the player's contract in the upcoming period.

According to French network "RMC", Paris Saint-Germain plans to extend Dembélé's contract for an additional year or two, which could keep the French star with the team until 2029 or 2030.

Both parties, the player and the club, agree on the desire to continue the journey together, although negotiations regarding the contract extension are taking time so far, knowing that the French star's contract expires in 2028.

Negotiations between Paris Saint-Germain and Ousmane Dembélé are expected to resume after the current transfer window closes, in order to reach a final agreement on the new contract.

These developments come after a tense situation between Ousmane Dembélé and his coach Luis Enrique, following Dembélé's substitution during the first round of Ligue 1 against Rennes (2-2) at halftime. The club then announced that the player would be excluded from Friday's match against Lille in the second round due to his unfitness.
