Nottingham Forest Close to Signing Dodo

Nottingham Forest is making strong moves to sign Brazilian right-back Dodo from Fiorentina during the current summer transfer window.

According to Sport Witness citing Viola News, Dodo has reached a personal agreement with Nottingham Forest regarding a four-year contract, bringing his move to the Premier League close to completion.

The final agreement between the two clubs remains the only obstacle, as Fiorentina is asking for €12 million for the player, while Nottingham Forest has made an offer of around €10 million, with optimism about bridging the €2 million gap through bonuses.

Dodo, aged 27, has a contract with Fiorentina until the summer of 2027, having played 162 matches for the team since joining from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2022. If the deal goes through, he will reunite with his former Fiorentina teammate Nikola Milenkovic.
