Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya express interest in signing Abdallah Nasib

Jordan international and Al-Hussein defender Abdallah Nasib has received an official offer from Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya during the ongoing summer transfer window, as the "Falcons" look to strengthen their defense before the transfer window closes.

The Iraqi club and player await an official response from Amer Abu Obaid, the president of Al-Hussein, who is currently outside Jordan on a business trip.

Sources have revealed that Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya have presented an offer of $350,000 for one season, with the possibility of raising it to $400,000. Al-Hussein is set to receive $100,000 from the value of the deal.

Abdallah Nasib is tied to his club with a contract that is the largest in the history of Jordanian football, valued at one million dollars for a duration of three seasons, which equates to about 335,000 dollars per season. Thus, the value of the Iraqi offer appears to be less than the salary the player receives with his current team, making negotiations complicated.

Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya are looking to finalize the signing of Abdallah Nasib as a replacement for Algerian defender Achraf Boudrama, who the club signed weeks ago from Al-Adalah. However, strong rumors have emerged about the management's intention to terminate the contract due to the coach Fathi Al-Jabal's lack of technical conviction.

The coaching staff is looking for a defender with international experience and the ability to lead the backline, especially with the team's upcoming participation in the AFC Champions League.

According to the terms of the contract signed between the player and his club, any transfer requires official approval from Al-Hussein's management.

Sources have confirmed that Al-Hussein are keen to retain their international defender, especially as he is participating in the AFC Champions League and is seen as a key element in the team's project this season. The fate of the transfer is expected to be decided in the coming days, before the first of September, which is the final deadline for player registrations in the Iraq Stars League.
