Ahmad Jassim: The Diyala match will be our true starting point

The temporary coaching staff of Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya held a press conference today, Friday, to talk about the team's anticipated match against Diyala tomorrow evening at the Al-Madina International Stadium. During the conference, Captain Ahmed Jassim, one of the members of the temporary coaching staff, spoke alongside player Murad Mohammed.

Captain Ahmed Jassim began his remarks by saying: "The travel journey was tiring and yesterday we only had one training session, but despite that, the team is ready for the match against Diyala, which will be the team's launch and return to its normal state."

Jassim added: "We know very well that we are going through difficult circumstances and a change in the coaching staff, but Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya is known for its rich history and its fans are crazy in love with the badge, and they have the right to demand victory, and this is something everyone knows."

The interim coach of Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya stated: "We always hope to see Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya at the top of the table and competing for the title, and this is its natural place. We promise our fans a victory and a positive result in tomorrow's match against Diyala. The players are very determined to make up for the loss against Al Zawraa."

Jassim confirmed that the interim coaching staff has studied Diyala well, stating: "Diyala is a respectable team and is performing well this season, but we will play on our home ground and in front of our fans, and there is no alternative to victory."

For his part, player Murad Mohammed said: "We wish success to the previous coaching staff that was with us at the beginning of the journey, and this is the nature of football; changing coaches is possible, and now we must focus on the current staff."

Murad added: "Our fans have the right to demand victory, and that is what we, as players and coaching staff, want to deliver to our supporters who stand by us and support us in all matches. We know that we have let them down in previous matches, and we take responsibility for that."

He concluded his remarks with a strong message: "The match against Diyala will be the team's launch and presence at the top of the table. We are currently in 14th place with 7 points, which is not befitting of Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya. Tomorrow we will fight for the three points and return to the winning track."
