De Bruyne: Good Start Against Genoa, No Need to Rush
Belgian star Kevin De Bruyne expressed his happiness with Napoli's start in Serie A after their 2-0 victory over Genoa, emphasizing that the team delivered a solid performance and secured three important points at the beginning of the season.
De Bruyne said after the match: "The most important thing is that we won. I try to help the team in the way I think is best. I was absent for a while due to my participation in the World Cup, but I believe I have returned in the right way."
The Belgian star added: "We were solid and pressed Genoa, and the substitutions gave the team energy in the final minutes, which helps a lot at the start of the season. I still need to regain some fitness, as my teammates have been training for 5 or 6 weeks."
De Bruyne continued his thoughts on coach Massimiliano Allegri's instructions: "Right now, not much has changed. You have to watch the team's style of play, and when we press, you need to find the spaces and the right passes. Football changes every minute."
He concluded his statements with an optimistic message: "The team is working well, it's the beginning, and we shouldn't rush, but it's a good start."
Kevin De Bruyne scored the opening goal and provided the second assist, earning the Man of the Match award in his debut for Napoli this season.
