Sunderland Reach Agreement to Sign Julius Ahouka

Sunderland has reached an agreement with Belgian side Royal Antwerp to sign young Congolese midfielder Julius Ahuka during the current summer transfer window.

According to Sky Sports, the deal is valued at around £8 million, with the player having agreed on personal terms, making his move to the Stadium of Light close to completion.

Ahoka is 20 years old and represents the Democratic Republic of Congo U23 national team. He plays as a midfielder and has caught the eye during his appearances with Royal Antwerp, despite limited first-team opportunities.

The player is expected to undergo medical tests before the official completion of the transfer, as part of Sunderland's strategy to attract young talents with potential for development.

The English club hopes that Ahoqa will be a strong addition to their midfield and continue his development in the Premier League after moving from Belgian football to one of the biggest challenges of his career so far.
