Messi Scores but Inter Miami Falls to Toronto in MLS

Inter Miami faced a defeat against their visitors Toronto with a score of 2-1, in the match that brought the two teams together in the 21st round of the Major League Soccer.

The visitors took the lead through Josh Sargent in the 59th minute, assisted by Saloui. Derek Etienne then scored a second goal for Toronto in the 62nd minute.

Lionel Messi scored Inter Miami's only goal in the 82nd minute, assisted by his teammate Rodrigo De Paul.

Despite Inter Miami's attempts in the final minutes of the match to come back, Toronto maintained their lead until the final whistle, clinching the encounter with a score of 2-1.

Inter Miami occupies second place in the overall standings with 39 points, while Toronto has raised its tally to 24 points in tenth place.
