Lazio Signs Josep Sutalo from Ajax

Lazio has officially announced the signing of Croatian defender Josip Sutalo from Ajax Amsterdam, during the current summer transfer window.

Sutalo has joined Lazio on a loan deal for €3 million, with an option to buy for €7.5 million, plus some performance-related bonuses.

The agreement also includes Ajax receiving 10% of the value of the player's future resale, should Lazio decide to activate the purchase clause and then sell the Croatian defender to another club.

Lazio hopes that Sutalo will be a strong addition to their defensive line, leveraging his international experience with the Croatian national team and his previous stint in the Dutch league, while the player aims to regain his form and establish himself in Serie A.

The deal is part of Lazio's efforts to strengthen its squad before the start of the new season. Sutalo will have the opportunity to embark on a new experience in Serie A and aims to secure a starting position in the team's lineup.
