Court Ruling Leaves Bordeaux's Future Uncertain

Girondins de Bordeaux has announced that it received with "regret" the decision of the administrative court in Paris, which rejected the request submitted by the club and its new investors regarding its administrative and financial status.

The club explained that the court considered the new financial obligations and guarantees presented by investors after the hearing before the National Directorate of Control and Management (DNCG) on July 15, may not be taken into account in the current case proceedings.

Bordeaux has expressed regret over the inability to subject the important financial guarantees provided in recent weeks to a new review by the DNCG committee, confirming that they were aimed at ensuring the club's continuity.

The club indicated that it will consider all available avenues for appeal as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Bordeaux and its new stakeholders reaffirm their commitment to defending the future of the historic club.
