Al Nassr Thrashes Riyadh 4-0 to Top Roshn League Standings

Al Nassr achieved a resounding victory over Riyadh with four goals to nil in the match held on Friday evening as part of the second round of the Saudi Pro League.

The victory raised Al Nassr's points to 6, placing them at the top of the Roshan League table on goal difference, tied with Al Hilal, while Riyadh remains without points at the bottom.

Abdulelah Al-Amri opened the scoring for Al-Nassr in the 18th minute, rising to meet a cross inside the penalty area and heading it into the net.

Gabriel Angelo added the second goal in the 45+1 minute, capitalizing on a low cross from the right side, ending the first half with Al Nassr leading 2-0.

Al Nassr doubled their advantage after the break when João Félix scored the third goal in the 58th minute, with a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area that the Riyadh goalkeeper could not stop.

Coach Ange Postecoglou brought on Cristiano Ronaldo in the 63rd minute, replacing Abdullah Al-Hamdan, allowing the Portuguese captain to feature in the match after missing the encounters against Al-Dhariyah and Al-Fateh.

Ronaldo capped off the goal fest in the 83rd minute, scoring the fourth goal and confirming Al Nassr's victory, earning the team three more points in their Roshan League campaign.
