Roma Continues Negotiations with Inter Milan for Luis Henrique

AS Roma has resumed negotiations with Inter Milan regarding the signing of Brazilian Luis Henrique, as coach Gian Piero Gasperini seeks a player capable of filling multiple positions and addressing various needs within the team's formation.

According to "Tutto Mercato Web", Roma is searching for a late-wing player who can cover the entire pitch, alongside an attacking element capable of playing behind the striker, making Luis Henrique a suitable option to meet both needs.

Roma's moves come amid limited financial resources following the club's significant investments during the summer transfer window, making it difficult to fund two major signings without making sales. As a result, the club has downgraded their interest in Seko Fofana, with Lyon holding firm on their high financial demands.

Luis Enrique possesses tactical flexibility that enables him to play as a late winger or behind the forward line, which gives Roma the opportunity to sign one player capable of covering two positions instead of making two separate deals.

The Brazilian player joined Inter from Marseille last summer for €25 million, and his start in Serie A was not impressive, but it gave him time to adapt to Italian football after his previous experience in France. He has also become more receptive to the idea of leaving Inter after falling down the pecking order among available options on the wings.

The disagreement between the two clubs persists over the value and terms of the deal, as Inter demands a loan with an obligation to buy for a fee ranging between €28 and €30 million, while Roma seeks a purchase option or obligation tied to specific conditions, with a total cost approaching €24 to €25 million.
