Elias Skhiri Returns to Cologne

Cologne has reached a complete agreement with all parties to re-sign Tunisian international Elyes Skhiri, coming from Eintracht Frankfurt, according to Patrick Berger and Sky Germany, with matching confirmations from recent German reports.

According to circulating information, the transfer fee will be around €1.5 million, with €1 million as a fixed amount. Sakiri will sign a contract with Köln until 2028.

The Tunisian midfielder is set to undergo a medical examination today, Thursday, with contracts to be signed and an official announcement regarding the transfer expected tomorrow, Friday, should he pass the tests successfully.

Sakiri returns to the club he represented between 2019 and 2023, where he made 118 appearances and scored 17 goals, before moving to Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer in 2023.
