Al Ahly Confirms: Imam Ashour Not for Sale

Al Ahly sent an official letter to Konyaspor today, Tuesday, announcing its refusal to sell midfielder Imam Ashour during the summer transfer window.

Turkish club Konyaspor has shown a desire to sign Imam Ashour during the ongoing summer transfer window, offering $4.5 million for his services.

Al Ahly announced on their official website that the club sent a letter today to Konyaspor, stating: "In reference to your request for our player Imam Ashour for $4.5 million to be paid over three years, we inform you that the player is not for sale this season, and we look forward to future cooperation."

Imam Ashour joined Al Ahly in the summer of 2023 after a professional stint at Danish club Midtjylland. The player's market value is currently around 5 million euros according to Transfermarkt.
