Zamalek Duo Miss Match Against Al Ittihad

The first-team duo of Zamalek will miss the match against Ittihad Alexandria in the Egyptian Premier League.

Zamalek is set to face their counterpart Ittihad Alexandria on Friday, August 21, as part of the first round of the 2026-2027 Egyptian Premier League.

The Zamalek administrative staff revealed that Hossam Ashraf and Mohamed Ibrahim will be absent from the match against Ittihad Alexandria in the opening of the league competition, due to the accumulation of yellow cards from last season.

Zamalek drew 2-2 with Modern Sport in a friendly match, concluding their pre-season fixtures ahead of the league competition.
