Injury Rules Out CR Belouizdad's Dahr Ben Saadallah for Season Opener
Union de la Médina has suffered a setback during their preparations for the new season currently taking place in Tunisia, as it has been confirmed that new signing Dharr Ben Saadallah will be absent from training for 10 days due to injury.
The capital club's management announced in a statement released today, Saturday, that Ben Saadallah has suffered a mild ankle sprain, which requires him to stay off the pitch for 10 days, according to the medical assessment of his condition.
The player is set to undergo a special treatment and rehabilitation program under the supervision of the medical staff of CR Belouizdad, aiming to regain fitness and return to training as soon as possible.
Ben Saad Allah joined CR Belouizdad during the current summer transfer window, coming from Olympique de Aokas, but the injury has come at a difficult time for the player, who is looking to establish himself with his new team.
The defender is facing a significant risk of missing the season opener, which sees CR Belouizdad take on their hosts, Khenshela, on August 29. This comes as he is set for a 10-day absence.
Meanwhile, CR Belouizdad is continuing its preparations for the new season during its training camp in Tunisia, where it faces Club Africain today in a strong test for the players under Senegalese coach Lamine Ndiaye, as part of the preparations for the upcoming season.
