Europa FC Defeats Al Ahly 2-1 in Friendly

Al Ahly's first football team suffered their first pre-season loss against Spanish side Europa, with a score of 2-1, this Friday evening at the Bosque de Tosca stadium in preparation for the upcoming season.

The first half ended with Al Ahly trailing Europa 1-0. In the second half, Europa added a second goal, taking a 2-0 lead over Al Ahly.

Al Ahly succeeded in narrowing the score after Achraf Bencherki netted their first goal, making the score 2-1.

Al Ahly will conclude their training camp in Spain with a match against Barcelona on August 19 at Camp Nou, as part of the Joan Gamper Trophy.

Al Ahly will start their campaign in the Egyptian Premier League by facing Eastern Company on Sunday, August 23, in the opening round of the tournament.
