Shobeir Announces Akram Tawfik's Return to Al Ahly

Ahmed Shobir, the renowned media figure, has revealed that Akram Tawfik, the midfielder from Al-Shamal in Qatar, is set to return to Al Ahly during the ongoing summer transfer window.

Ahmed Shobir wrote on his official Facebook account: "Akram Tawfik returns to Al Ahly."

Reports have confirmed that Akram Tawfik will join Al Ahly for a duration of three years in a free transfer deal, following the player's mutual termination of his contract with Al Shamal in Qatar.

This comes as the football management at Al Ahly is striving to bolster the team's core with heavyweight signings before the start of the new season.

Al Ahly will face Badalona, who play in the fifth tier of Spanish football, in their first friendly match during their training camp in Spain this evening, Wednesday. This comes ahead of their clash against FC Barcelona on August 19 in the Joan Gamper Trophy.
