Spanish midfielder Sergi Roberto has reached a verbal agreement to join American club LA Galaxy during the current summer transfer window, according to journalist Matteo Moretto.

Roberto departed from Italian club Como this summer after a brief stint with the team, and is now on the verge of embarking on a new experience in Major League Soccer.

According to reports, the player has accepted an offer from Los Angeles Galaxy, with only the completion of official procedures remaining before the deal is finalized and announced.

Roberto, 34, previously spent the majority of his career at Barcelona before moving to Como, and is now on the verge of starting a new chapter in his professional career through Major League Soccer.
