Hervé Renard will succeed coach Emeris Faï in a move aimed at opening a new chapter with the national team, leveraging the vast experience the French coach possesses on the African stage.

Hervé Renard is considered one of the most prominent coaches to have worked in Africa, having previously managed the Ivory Coast national team and led them to win the Africa Cup of Nations title in 2015.
