Manchester City Set to Seal Bouadoui Deal

Manchester City is nearing the completion of a deal for Moroccan talent Ayoub Bouaddi, a player from Lille. The club has reached a full agreement with the player regarding personal terms for a contract that will run until the summer of 2031, pending the final agreement with the French club.

Bouaddi, at just 18 years old, is one of the most promising talents in European football, having delivered a standout season with Lille in Ligue 1. He also drew attention during his participation with the Moroccan national team in the 2026 World Cup, making him a target for several top European clubs.

According to journalist Fabrice Hawkins, negotiations between Manchester City and Lille have become "extremely intense," as both parties aim to reach common ground on the value of the deal, alongside ongoing communication between the English club's management and the player's representatives.

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Manchester City is confident of completing the deal in the coming days. Journalist Sasha Tavolieri clarified that the player has already agreed to join the English champions, with the only remaining hurdle being the financial agreement between the two clubs.

The report indicates that Lille is still insisting on receiving €100 million for Bouadid, while Manchester City is attempting to close the deal for €90 million as a fixed fee, adding bonuses and variables. This leaves a gap of only €10 million between the two parties, with significant optimism about reaching a final agreement soon.
