Omar Kamal's Father: My Son Returns to Al Ahly Training

Omar Kamal Abdul Wahid has returned to training with Al Ahly after spending last season on loan at Ceramica Cleopatra, according to his father, Kamal Abdul Wahid.

Kamal Abdel Wahid stated in remarks via On Sport FM: "Omar informed me that Wael Gomaa has added him back to the team group to start the preparation period."

He added: "We are at the club's service, and we have not objected whether Omar stays with Al Ahly or goes on loan. My son is currently training with Hussein Ammouta, whom Omar described as a coach with a strong personality."

Omar Kamal Abdel Wahid played 10 matches in the past season 2025-2026, totaling 461 minutes on the pitch, during which he scored two goals and provided one assist.
