Dzeko Extends Contract with Schalke Until Summer 2027

Reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko has reached an agreement with Schalke 04 to extend his contract for an additional season, keeping him at the club until June 2027.

Edin Dzeko's decision comes after his contribution to Schalke's rise to the Bundesliga, as he chose to continue his journey with the team and take on a new challenge in the top flight next season.

Romano pointed out that Dzeko has turned down several offers he received recently, from clubs in Serie A, Major League Soccer (MLS), as well as other German clubs, in order to continue with Schalke.

Dzeko joined Schalke last January and delivered impressive performances that helped the team return to the top flight, prompting both parties to extend the contract and continue their partnership until the summer of 2027.
