Official: Al Shabab Signs Croatian Defender Tin Jedvaj

Al-Shabab has completed the official signing of Croatian defender Tin Jedvaj, arriving from Greek club Panathinaikos, to strengthen the team's backline ahead of the new season.

The club revealed the signing through its official account on X, welcoming the new defender with an enthusiastic message: "A new fighter in the capital's giant.. Yedvai Shabani."

Yedvai has signed a contract with Al Shabab that extends for one season, with the club granted the option to extend the partnership for an additional season, according to the club's announcement.

The 30-year-old Croatian defender has an impressive record of European experiences, having worn the jerseys of Dinamo Zagreb, Roma, Bayer Leverkusen, and Augsburg.

Tin Jedvaj has international experience with the Croatian national team, having played 26 international matches during his career with the national side.

The defender was part of the Croatian national team that achieved a historic milestone by securing second place and the silver medal in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Al-Shabab hopes that the new signing will provide their defense with more experience and solidity, as part of the club's efforts to build a competitive team for the upcoming season.
