Ali Adnan Explains Loss Reasons in Oil Friendly

Ali Adnan, defender of Al-Zawraa, stated after the 2-0 friendly loss to Al-Naft that the match was very difficult, noting that most of the players were recently signed and renewed, which is why there is a challenge in cohesion among the players at this stage.

Adnan stated: "This is what we will work on, along with the coaching staff, in the coming days to build the required harmony among the team members, especially since we are going through a preparation and testing period for the new lineup."

Adnan stated: "The players' physical output was evident during the match, as we have been undergoing intensive training in the past days. Therefore, we feel a bit fatigued, but this is normal during the preparation period, and we aim to deliver our best in the upcoming matches."

Ali Adnan has been signed from Al-Wehda during the current transfer window. The player previously stated in interviews that representing Al-Zawraa has been a dream for him since the beginning of his football career.

Al-Zawraa is preparing to play a number of other friendly matches under the guidance of coach Basim Qasim, aiming to get the team ready both technically and physically before the start of the new season of the Iraqi Premier League.
