Tottenham's Ongoing Interest in Savinho as Marmoush Emerges as Top Alternative
Tottenham Hotspur is renewing its interest in signing Brazilian winger Savinho from Manchester City during the current summer transfer window, after the London club was close to acquiring him last year in a deal valued at around £60.7 million.
According to "talkSPORT", Tottenham has reopened negotiations to sign the player, having previously mentioned in May their intention to resume attempts to secure his transfer during the current transfer window.
The source added that the name of Egyptian international Omar Marmoush, a Manchester City player, has been put forward among the attacking options alongside Marcus Rashford and Harvey Barnes, as Tottenham seeks to strengthen the left-wing position.
The report highlighted that Harry Wilson was one of the names Tottenham could have signed on a free transfer, before ultimately moving to Leeds United.
Meanwhile, the report clarified that Savanier is still a candidate to join Tottenham during the current transfer window, with his name continuing to be linked to the London club.
The report confirmed that Tottenham continues to evaluate its offensive options before making a final decision on the transfer, as part of its efforts to strengthen the squad in preparation for the new season.
