Khalid Al-Otaibi Appointed as Al-Fateh Coach

Al-Fateh has settled on appointing national coach Khalid Al-Otaibi as the head coach of the first team, taking over from Portuguese José Gomes, who recently left his position. The club officially announced the assignment of the national coach to lead the team, marking a new step in preparation for the upcoming phase and the anticipated competitions during the new season. Al-Fateh revealed the decision via its official account on X, through a video clip announcing Al-Otaibi's responsibility for coaching the team. Khalid Al-Otaibi has previous experience in the Roshen Saudi League, having led Damac last season, where he delivered a notable performance. Al-Otaibi's appointment comes after José Gomes departed from coaching Al-Fateh, as the Portuguese coach has moved on to a new challenge with Al-Khaleej. Al-Fateh hopes that their new coach will successfully guide the team towards a more stable phase and achieve positive results in the upcoming competitions.
