Adam Aznou on PSV Eindhoven's Radar
Young Moroccan international Adam Aznou is catching the eye of European clubs during the current summer transfer window. Interest in his services has surged following his impressive performances in recent months.
According to "africafoot", PSV Eindhoven has placed Aznou at the top of their list to strengthen the left-back position, following the return of Moroccan international Anas Salah Eddine to Roma at the end of his loan period.
According to the same source, the Dutch league champions are searching for a player capable of securing a starting spot in their lineup, and they see 19-year-old Aznou as the ideal option due to his technical abilities and capacity to bolster the attacking front, along with his tactical maturity that aligns with the team's playing philosophy.
The Moroccan player has a promising career, having progressed through Barcelona's "La Masia" academy before moving to Bayern Munich to continue his development. He also had a loan spell with Real Valladolid during the second half of last season, before joining Everton in a deal worth around €9 million.
Despite his recent move to the Premier League, Aznou's future remains open to several possibilities, with the potential for a loan or a transfer to a team that offers him regular playing time, which would aid in his continued technical development.
The interest in the services of the Moroccan international is not limited to PSV Eindhoven. Reports indicate that French club Olympique Marseille, along with Spanish sides Real Betis and Getafe, are closely watching the player's situation in anticipation of entering the race to sign him during the summer transfer window.
PSV Eindhoven officials believe that signing Azouno represents an investment in the future, both from a sporting and economic perspective, aligning with the club's policy of attracting young talents and developing them before their market value rises in the European transfer market.
