Michel Der Zakarian, the head coach of French club Nantes, has issued strong criticism towards Egyptian striker Mustafa Mohamed for his absence from the start of the pre-season preparations without obtaining permission from the club's management.

Nantes coach stated: "We don't know where he is, and he isn't responding to our calls. I don't know what's happening, but he hasn't shown up for training," expressing his discontent with the player's continued absence from the team's preparatory camp.

Der Zakarian added that the club has tried to reach out to the player multiple times without success, emphasizing that Mustafa Mohamed's absence remains unjustified so far, as the team prepares for the start of the new season.

According to French reports, Nantes is considering imposing disciplinary sanctions on the Egyptian forward due to his absence from training, while awaiting his return or clarification regarding the reasons for his absence in the coming days.
