The future of Moroccan international Youssef En-Nesyri at Ittihad is shrouded in uncertainty, as Saudi media reports indicate that the club's management is considering the possibility of parting ways with him during the current summer transfer window. This move is part of a strategy to restructure the attacking line in preparation for the new season.

According to the Saudi newspaper "Okaz," sources reveal that Ittihad officials plan to make adjustments to their attacking setup by searching for a new striker capable of providing a technical boost, which could pave the way for En-Nesyri's departure ahead of the upcoming season, given the local and continental challenges awaiting the team.

The Saudi club signed the Moroccan striker during the last winter transfer window from Turkish side Fenerbahçe, with a contract extending until the summer of 2028, following the transfer of French striker Karim Benzema to Al-Hilal.

During his time with Ittihad, En-Nesyri participated in 14 matches across the Roshn League and the Saudi Cup, managing to score six goals.

As part of their preparations for the new season, Ittihad is set to travel next Tuesday to Marbella, Spain, for a training camp led by German coach Jens Wissing, who is focused on enhancing the players' physical and technical readiness before the official competitions begin.

Ittihad is scheduled to kick off their friendly matches against South Africa's Orlando Pirates on July 21, followed by a clash with Spain's Las Palmas on the 25th of the same month, with the rest of the training camp schedule and friendly matches to be announced later.
