Ramie Rabia Denies Financial Equality Demands with Zizo and Trezeguet
Ramie Rabia, defender for the Egypt national team and Al Ain, has denied reports suggesting he would leave Al Ahly due to financial disagreements, asserting that he never requested to have his salary equalized with Mahmoud Trezeguet and Ahmed Sayed Zizo. In an appearance on MBC Masr, Rabia stated, "This is completely untrue. I left Al Ahly after my contract ended, and I asked the officials to value me financially since this would be the last contract of my career." He added, "It's all about offers and demands; I told them I wanted to be valued financially as these are my last two years. I needed recognition for my journey, but in the end, it’s about offers and demands, and I left. My departure has nothing to do with what Zizo and Trezeguet earn; that’s each person's fortune, and when I left, I didn’t even know how much they were getting." He concluded, "Al Ahly is the club that made my name, and if I return to Egypt, Al Ahly will definitely be my gateway."
