Ajax in Talks with Girona for Onahi Transfer

Ajax Amsterdam has entered negotiations with Spanish club Girona to acquire Moroccan midfielder Azzedine Onahi as part of their efforts to strengthen the squad during the summer transfer window.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Ajax's management has initiated contact with Girona to explore the possibility of reaching an agreement, given their serious interest in signing the Moroccan international.

Onahi's contract with Girona includes a release clause set at €25 million, which the Spanish club has established as the fee for the player's departure during the current transfer period.

Onahi is considered one of the top names on Ajax's wishlist this summer, and negotiations between the two parties are expected to continue in the coming days in an attempt to finalize the deal before the new season kicks off.
