Moroccan international Bilal Khenous broke his silence following Morocco's exit from the 2026 World Cup, expressing gratitude to Moroccan fans for their support. He highlighted the pride he feels for what the "Atlas Lions" accomplished during the tournament, despite being eliminated in the quarter-finals after a 2-0 defeat to France.

Khenous shared a post on his official Instagram account, stating that Morocco's participation in the World Cup will remain a significant milestone in the players' memories. He emphasized his immense pride in wearing the national team's jersey and representing Morocco on the biggest football stage in the world.

He wrote: "The World Cup stops here for us, but the journey we took will be etched in memory," adding, "I am proud to wear this jersey, and I am proud to represent my country's colors and fight alongside my brothers in the national team."

The Moroccan international confirmed that all players gave their utmost throughout the tournament, competing with determination and fighting spirit in defense of their nation's colors. He noted that fan support was present from the beginning of the journey until the final whistle.

Khenous thanked Moroccan fans both inside and outside the kingdom, saying: "Thank you to everyone who supported us and stood by us from day one until the last day."

The "Atlas Lions" star emphasized that what was achieved in the 2026 World Cup does not mark the end of the road, but rather a new step in the national team's journey, adding: "Together we wrote a new chapter in our history, and this is not the end, but just a stage in a long path."

Khenous concluded his message with a brief phrase that carried deep meaning, writing: "Always Morocco."
