Zionist Player Reveals a Remarkable Stance by a Moroccan Star
The Zionist Manor Solomon, former Villarreal player, revealed difficult details he experienced during his loan period to the Spanish club, confirming that adapting outside of England was more complicated than he expected.
In an interview with "Castellón al Día" newspaper, Solomon said: "When you come from England, everything is organized. When you sign, you receive messages from everyone; the media officer, the team manager, the doctor... you are surrounded by people. But in Spain, no one spoke to me, except for the coach, because he spoke English."
He added that he felt a great sense of isolation during his experience in Spain, noting that the cultural differences and the way of working compared to what he was used to in England made the adaptation process more difficult.
Solomon also addressed an incident that sparked controversy within the team, stating that his former teammate Elias Akhomach refused to shake his hand because he is from the occupying entity, against the backdrop of the war in Palestine. He mentioned that this incident affected him during his time with the team.
