Vlahovic Offers Himself to Barcelona Again

Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic has returned to put his name on Barcelona's table, taking advantage of the Catalan club's need to strengthen the striker position following Robert Lewandowski's departure, alongside the uncertainty surrounding the future of Ferran Torres, who has not ruled out leaving during the summer transfer window.

The Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' explained that Barcelona's priority remains to sign Julian Alvarez, the Atletico Madrid striker, who has announced his desire to leave his club. However, the potential departure of Ferran Torres may push the club's management to also look for a pure striker who excels in playing inside the penalty area, which aligns with Vlahovic's profile.

The newspaper added that Vlahovic's contract with Juventus ends on June 30, while the chances of renewing it seem slim, giving him the possibility to move to Barcelona on a free transfer. It also mentioned that the player has once again informed the Catalan club of his desire to wear their jersey, even though the management does not see him as the primary option for the striker position, but rather as a potential alternative if Ferran Torres leaves.

The same source indicated that Vlahovic is demanding an annual salary of about 8 million euros, in addition to a signing bonus of 15 million euros, while Juventus continues its attempts to renew his contract without receiving a response from the player or his father, who manages his affairs. The Serbian international has also been linked with moves to Bayern Munich, Besiktas, and Atletico Madrid, which considers him among its potential options to replace Alexander Sorloth.
