Snakes and Crocodiles Near the Norwegian National Team Camp

There is growing concern among several teams participating in the 2026 World Cup due to organizational, logistical, and security issues that may affect the tournament, despite the extensive preparations and modern stadiums that have been set up in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

According to media reports, some off-field events have started raising concerns about the readiness for the upcoming World Cup edition. The Norwegian team was alerted to the presence of snakes, crocodiles, and dangerous wild animals near their training camp in North Carolina, which has caused a state of anxiety within the team's delegation.

The Swiss national team received warnings a few days ago about the presence of rattlesnakes around their training fields in San Diego, prompting the technical and administrative staff to review safety procedures, amid growing questions about the readiness of the organizational infrastructure for the largest tournament in World Cup history.

The World Cup kicks off today, Thursday, June 11, and continues until July 19 in three countries: the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
