Al-Ahly Tripoli Wins Libyan Cup Against Al-Ahly Benghazi

Al-Ahly Tripoli club was crowned with the Libyan Cup title after its victory over its counterpart Al-Ahly Benghazi with a score of one goal to nil, in the match that took place between the two teams on Tuesday evening at the Cairo International Stadium.

The match was strong from its early minutes, as both teams exchanged offensive attempts in search of the lead goal, but the nets remained intact until the 69th minute of the match.

Player Moayed Al-Lafi managed to give Al-Ahly Tripoli the advantage in the 69th minute, after scoring the only goal of the match with a powerful shot that settled in the net of Al-Ahly Benghazi, which tried to come back in the remaining minutes without success.

The attempts continued from both sides until the end of the match, but the lack of offensive effectiveness prevented any change in the result, allowing Al-Ahly Tripoli to secure the match with a clean goal.

With this victory, Al-Ahly Tripoli achieved the Libyan Cup title for the third consecutive time and the ninth in its history.
