Officially: Al-Ittihad Alexandria Announces the Departure of Miloud Hamdi
Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club announced the departure of Algerian coach Miloud Hamdi from his position as head coach of the first team, thus ending his tenure with the "Leader of the North" after a period during which he led the team in the Egyptian Premier League competitions.
The decision to part ways between the two parties came after a series of meetings held by the club's management to evaluate the team's results during the past season. It was agreed to terminate the contractual relationship amicably, paving the way for a new technical phase in preparation for the upcoming season.
Miloud Hamdi took over as coach of Al Ittihad Alexandria last season in an attempt to bring the team back into contention for top positions. However, the results did not meet the aspirations of the management and fans, prompting the club to look for new options at the technical staff level.
The management of Al-Ittihad Alexandria Club expressed their gratitude to the Algerian coach and his assistant staff for their efforts during their tenure with the team, wishing them success in their future endeavors.
On the other hand, the club management has already begun reviewing several resumes of coaches nominated to succeed Miloud Hamdi, with the aim of finalizing the technical file as quickly as possible before the preparation period for the new season begins.
In the coming days, intensive efforts are expected within Al Ittihad Alexandria to select a new head coach, as part of the club's endeavor to present a stronger image in the upcoming season and reclaim its position among the competing teams in Egyptian football.
